Voices of Music presents Bach and Buxtehude

Experience the fabulous music making that won Voices of Music five Best of the Bay Awards last season.

For its season finale, the Early Music ensemble Voices of Music will present a splendid evening of sacred German baroque music by Bach and Buxtehude. This program will feature Bach's rarely performed Mass in G minor BWV 235, the Buxtehude Cantata Jesu, meines Lebens Leben as well as the Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major BWV 1068 in the early Bach strings only version The program will be rounded out with the Bach Sinfonia to Cantata BWV 42 and Jesu joy of man's desiring from BWV 147.
