Alexander Galloway, an Associate Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, comes to UC Santa Cruz as part of their "Visual and Media Cultures Colloquium." Entitled "The Cybernetic Hypothesis," this lecture takes inspiration from Tiqqun's 2001 text of the same name and will explore the relationship between digital technology and scholarly research methods.
