Announcing the eighth installment of the ongoing series Visions Of A New World, a new cinematic event that brings visual artists and live musicians into conversation. Each edition features new visual artists and live sound performances, highlighting the Bay Area's dense creative output as a community.
Visions of a New World is about energy, experimentation and positivity.  It demonstrates a vision for the future that is safe for all peoples and advocates experimentation in music, moving imagery and other sensory experiences.  Music is primarily electroacoustic, visual art leans toward the abstract or “visual music” and extra experiences like scents are employed as often as possible.  Dancing is encouraged

Oakland resident, Russell Ellington Langston Butler, will be joining us bringing a library of sound collage. Butler weaves a tapestry of ambience, break beats and various noise components that engulf the dance floor. One cannot help, but shake their body to the musical musings of Russell E.L. Butler.
Live visuals:
Jason Worden
Jason Worden is an experimental video and visuals artist based in San Francisco. His live visuals incorporate analog video synthesizers, feedback from 70s security cameras, and old video mixers salvaged from your childhood church’s AV closet.  vimeo.com/jsonpayload
Ocular Music(Huckleberry Lain)
Hallucinogenic interactive light show visuals are Huckleberry’s trade. A cross between VJing and expanded cinema Huckleberry is known for using all analog tech including 16mm film projection.Infectious imagery compel audiences to dance the night away.  https://instagram.com/ocularmusic
Scent Design:

Room scents designed to complement and enhance the audio and visual elements. Ensuring that just as you walk into a space and the sound grabs you to set a mood, so does the scent. Aromas that suffuse but don’t saturate.

PS transmits beats to make your pulse fluctuate as you cascade across an electronic universe of sounds. Float through a journey - sounds sent straight to your eardrum.

Austin CesearThis Left Field master comes on slowly and rocks your world with off tempo trax and a barrage of mixes to make your head spin. For Cesear words fail in all respects, which is why an experience of his electro mashups are a must.
