For the first time ever, we are taking the Vinyl Lounge out of our building in Canberra and presenting it virtually.
On Friday 1 May our audiophile experience makes its online debut and we would love for you to join us.
Since 2013 we have hosted the monthly Vinyl Lounge - a space for music lovers to come together and play songs from their favourite records on our awesome sound system. Vinyl Loungers choose a song to share with the group and present a short introduction about what that song means to them.
In this new virtual edition your host, NFSA Curator Thorsten Kaeding, will take you on a musical journey using his personal set-up at home.
We will also have (socially distanced!) audience participation, with some of our regulars submitting their video request for this first ever Virtual Vinyl Lounge live stream.
So join us online on Friday 1 May for a curated hour of analogue music, and stay tuned for your opportunity to submit a song for the next Virtual Vinyl Lounge.
Register now to be reminded before we go live. We hope to see you then!
