PLEASE NOTE: We have a new venue hosting the event! Cafe Stritch is a great venue located in downtown San Jose with a emphasis on good homemade food, artisan drinks and cocktails, and operates as a live music venue and art gallery!
We'll be featuring record dealers from all over the Bay, including some new faces. As usual, a variety of genres and formats will be represented...everything from 12" Hip-Hop to rare African and Latin records, and everything in between.
Who better to spin records than vinyl dealers? At Vintage- A Vinyl Swap, shoppers can feast on rare vinyl from some really cool dealers-and hear them DJ really cool music as well. And you know they have good taste; finding obscure music is what they do for a living. The dealers will be selling (and spinning) primarily old-school funk, soul, jazz, Afro-funk and hip-hop. The dealers (and DJs) include On the Corner Music from Campbell (owner Jeff Michael Evans will be DJing as Jeff Jagged), Fat Headphones (as DJ Fat Headphones), Vamp Music and others.
Come join us, dig for new music, grab a drink, and chill with DJs spinning for your pleasure!
