The San Francisco Choral Society continues its season with a performance of Verdi's monumental Requiem with the California Chamber Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall. Returning to Davies for the first time since 2019, SF Choral marks the performance with the launch of its inaugural Summer Festival Chorus, a new program that invites experienced singers from across the country and beyond to audition for the Resident Chorus and spend one week each summer in San Francisco for rehearsals and a concert. The performance will be led by SF Choral's Associate Director Bryan Baker and features a selection of guest artists including soprano Clarissa Lyons, mezzo soprano Buffy Baggott, tenor Christopher Bengochea, and bass Eugene Brancoveanu.
