Bella Donna Artiste presents "GENESIS," an exhibition introducing the collaborative works of duo artists Addendum24 and LE BohemianMuse. Their work explores themes of feminine identity, energy, and existence through a fusion of abstract techniques and classical portraiture. Addendum24 demonstrates her classical portraiture with the intent to captivate the viewer's perception of beauty beyond the rhythmic chaos of the composition. LE BohemianMuse's abstract paintings are both complex and aggressively display emotional struggle, doubt, and hope.
"Synthesis"
"Enhance and intensify one's vision of that synthesis of truth and beauty
which is the highest and deepest reality."
- Ovid
Known mostly for their mural work, this exhibition presents their painted series, "Synthesis", an exploratory series that displays the fusion of the two worlds in a more intimate way. While telling an emotional and vivid story that appears like a visual diary. Each piece is titled with the various wordplay on the word Synthesis and explores the dark and light sides of the heart, mind and soul, that women face daily.

About:
Bella Donna Artiste is a collaborative duo composed of artists Addendum24 and LE BohemianMuse. Based in the Bay Area, the artists met while participating in ArtSpan's artist studio residency program at the Journal Building in San Francisco, CA. Bella Donna Artiste was established in 2018 after the two creatives collaborated on a painting for the residency program's group exhibition. Their work explores themes of feminine identity, energy, and existence through a fusion of abstract techniques and classical portraiture.
Addendum24 is a Filipina American Bay Area native artist with classical training from the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy and an Illustrative background from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She demonstrates this craft in the studio; with the intent to captivate the viewer's perception of beauty beyond the rhythmic chaos of the composition. With her experience in creating public art (including Artspan's Mural project for the Salesforce Transit Center), she has illustrated the themes given; incorporating what she feels needs to be articulated in the current climate. Working closely with clients, she is able to help conceptualize and successfully manifest her clients' vision.
LE BohemianMuse is a first-generation Ghanaian-American artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a storyteller, she uses abstract painting, writing, performing, and filmmaking to weave narratives. With her abstract paintings, each piece she creates is complex and aggressively displays emotional struggle, doubt, and hope. She uses mediums such as acrylic paint, molding and cracking paste, and other various multi-mediums to create movement in the paintings. LE has presented paintings in various art shows (Superfine Art Fair, Artspan Open Studios, Art Attack Gallery, and more) in different U.S. cities. In addition to being one of the featured artists in the SF Gate article "I'm still creating, I won't stop creating" Life as an SF artist in shutdown. Recently she was one of the featured artists in Voyage LA Magazine Local Stories May 2020 issue. In August 2020, LE had her first solo exhibition "Renegade Renaissance" at Art Attack gallery. This show featured her series work called "Rebel" an experimental series where LE goes against her creative instinct.
In unity with LE BohemianMuse's technique (which includes texture and strong colors), this new process interrupts her traditional style, Addendum24 finds the splendor in the disturbance and chooses to either confirm or reject the groundwork set by LE BohemianMuse. Making an addendum to the piece illustrating the magnificence of the figurative form; she steadily finds this fluidity and balance with lucid cognizance that the foundation proposed by LE BohemianMuse might be, once again, disrupted.
