Kick off the 12th season of Valley of the Moon Music Festival with a vibrant evening celebrating the musical world of Smetana and Dvorák. This program explores the extraordinary friendship between the two Czech composers, whose shared roots in the folk traditions of their Czech homeland shaped some of the 19th century's most distinctive chamber music. Stay after the performance for a glass of wine and sweeping Sonoma Valley views. Arrive early for a free pre-concert lecture led by musicologist Kate van Orden. Concert duration: approximately 2 hours with intermission.
