Wizard Apprentice is a multi-media performer and sound artist. She conjures the shadow self, calling in our many identities – made up of data, desires, and difficult emotions – that when neglected can be enacted upon others. Her audio- and video-based performances negotiate with the contradictions of these selves. Her performance will be followed by a participatory, collaborative workshop in which Wizard Apprentice will lead an open discussion exploring shadow and light, along with ways to engage with challenging emotions.
