Mariko Wyrick graduated from the Juilliard School in New York last year and is the daughter of San Francisco Symphony associate principal cellist Peter Wyrick and San Francisco Symphony violinist Amy Hiraga. A winner of the American Fine Arts Festival Competition, she is currently a free lance musician in New York and a member of the American Ballet Theater Orchestra. She will reprise her outstanding performance of Ernest Bloch’s “Schelomo” during the Gualala Summer Festival of Music last July at a MasterGuild concert next season.
