Serf and James met during try-outs for a musical called "Kiss Me Kate," in Napa. Some sort of magic happened during that time, between rehearsals and open mics. Now, nearly ten years later, they found their way back to basics, writing heartfelt songs of love lost and dreams that never seemed too far off.
Karma Sutro
The band Karma Sutro was originally created as a front for the organized crime syndicate of the same name, but they quickly developed a cult following by rocking harder than any other band in the Bay Area.
