SEE EVENT DETAILS
Serf and James

Serf and James met during try-outs for a musical called "Kiss Me Kate," in Napa. Some sort of magic happened during that time, between rehearsals and open mics. Now, nearly ten years later, they found their way back to basics, writing heartfelt songs of love lost and dreams that never seemed too far off.

Trixie and the Skates

Trixie and the Skates is the most recent incarnation of music from Trixie Rasputin and her partners, The Skates. The band has blended piano, strings, guitars, drums and Trixie's vocal stylings to create a new sound that blends folk, rock, and blues music into one sound.

The Oakland Mind

Started at the end of 2013 The Oakland Mind rose from the ashes of broken groups and good music. Six months later and they lead the bays hottest cypher, have the most recognizable hip hop brand and have been featured in the East Bay Express. With music ranging from Jazz to Trap they are Oakland’s Mind.

Underwoman and the Believers

Underwoman and the Believers is writer/pianist/vocalist Carolyn Chen with Gabriel Eriksson (bass), Albert Yeh (guitar), and Julius Cheng (drums). Her moniker is inspired by the anti-hero of the novel Notes from Underground, and her music is influenced by film scores, indie pop, electronic music, and her classical piano background. Past shows in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, NY, and Baltimore/Potomac areas include Pianos NYC, Whisky a Go Go, The Milk Bar, Amnesia, El Rio, The Stork Club, Genghis Cohen, Bazaar Cafe, Brain Wash Cafe, Alchemical Studios, An Die Musik, Mama Buzz Café, Red Rock Coffee, private home concerts, and three San Francisco Taiwanese American Cultural Festivals.
