The Music Department at UC Santa Cruz presents an evening with UCSC Concert Choir as they perform Lou Harrison's choral masterpiece, "La Koro Sutro," an Esperanto translation of the Buddhist Heart Sutra, and "American Gamelan." They will also perform works by Harrison's contemporaries such as Johanna Beyer and John Cage. The Choir will be joined by special guests the UCSC Percussion Ensemble.
