FAQs
Am I required to show work?
Not at all! You’re welcome to come and learn. We do encourage participating in the Type Crit and asking questions that would benefit the presenters and the community.
What can I bring to the event?
Bring your work-in-progress projects that are typographic. Anything where type designers and educators can help you. Some examples: • UI: An App or Website that is typographic in nature. • Lettering: Many sketches and directions for a lettering assignment. • Typeface: Type proofs showcasing large renders of the letters, spacing proofs, text settings of the type.
Submit your work securely online for the Type Crit and it will be ready and waiting for you at the event. Your work will be projected onto the screen and the group will help pump up your typography!
