Alicia started dreaming of being a comedian at the age of 8. She did her first set at the tender age of 18. She graduated from Hampshire College with a degree in standup comedy and filmmaking. Alicia has appeared on NPR, The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Chronicle, East Bay Express, The Lady Brain Show, J Magazine, BeliefNET, Elephant Journal, Elevate, Inspyr, Integral Yoga Magazine, The Mindful Word, Awaken.com, Taoish.com, and more. After a dozen years of doing standup, she’s been racking up awards for her humorous, insightful one-woman shows. Liss N’ Sams is an improv comedy duo based in San Francisco, made up of improv veterans Joe Liss and Marcus Sams. Joe Liss, Second City alumnus, has appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Strangers With Candy, and has written for SpongeBob Squarepants and Third Rock From the Sun. Marcus Sams teaches in San Francisco for Leela and Improv With Marcus and performs all over the country at national improv festivals. They perform improv comedy at a breakneck pace, so wear your seatbelts and get ready for a ride.

Dave Against the Janene are two improvisors with two very different styles. He likes goofy comedy. She liked real drama. He likes plot twists. She likes pregnant pauses. When they come together on the stage, their worlds collide into branching scenes that blend and weave their different styles and eccentricities in ways that surprise even them. Janene has studied at Improv Asylum and Annoyance Theatre. Dave has studied at IO Chicago. Together, they regularly perform with Leela in San Francisco while also traveling to perform at Vancouver International Improv Festival, Hawaii Improvaganza, San Francisco Improv Festival, and most recently the New York Improv Festival.
