Please join Wu Yee Children’s Services in celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a finale event, a VIP Donor Appreciation Reception and Piano Benefit Recital by Two Piano Journey. Two Piano Journey is the critically acclaimed mother and son piano duo, Michelle and Christopher Kuo.
Michelle Kuo, a child piano prodigy who played to sold out concert halls in Taiwan, gave up her promising career and dream to tour the world to raise her two sons. She continued to hone her talent as a teacher, helping many of her students get accepted into conservatories. When her son, Christopher, eventually learned about the kind of opportunities she left behind as a young pianist, he convinced her to perform with him as a two-piano team. They have performed together more than 20 times in 2017, and plan to at least double the number of performances in 2018. They share a dream “to become the best piano ensemble team in the world.”
Since we started performing together in 2015, our friends and family across the country have supported our dream to go on tour. Without their love, none of this would be possible. Our way of saying ‘thank you’ is to support nonprofit organizations our audience members are passionate about.
Every single concert we perform, in full or in part, is for the benefit of an organization doing critical work to make our world a better place.
