Together in sacred community, we will join our hearts in breath, song, whirling, dance, poetry and prayer. This offering is open to all who are called to move in prayer, and those who seek to learn more about embracing dance and the movement of whirling to connect with the universe and our deepest self. This workshop will include group prayer, breathwork, movement rituals, Sufi whirling practices, sacred circle dances, singing and chanting. The intention is to allow these experiences to help us expand our heart's capacity and to enter the place of unity with all creation.
Come in comfortable clothing (with socks), a big wide open heart, and any prayer or intention to share!
This class will take place in-person at The Alembic, where there is a free parking lot with ample space. The doors will lock at 7:30, so please arrive on time.
