Fieldworks Collaborative (FW) invites you to an afternoon Chit-Chat and Tasting to celebrate the launch of Tribute, our current project that honors everyday activists working on critical environmental and food justice fronts in the Bay Area.
Please joins us and our first group of Tributees to engage with pressing questions on environmental and food justice community fronts:
*Wanda Stewart, Urban Farmer, and Food Justice Educator
*Carl Anthony, Community-based Environmental Justice Activist
*Dr. Gretchen LeBuhn, Scientist and Advocate for Native Pollinators
Participate in a parlor-style conversation (chit-chat) and sample tastes of Fieldworks new vodka-infused spirits, inspired by these three local visionaries and made with fruits, herbs, botanicals and other edibles harvested from the backyard and neighborhoods of our tributees. Along with our spirit tasting, we will serve some homemade treats from our new non-alcoholic beverage concoctions.
Please RSVP by registering on this page. This event is free, but we have limited space, so let us know you are coming!
Need holiday gifts?
Our FW vodka-infused spirits will be for sale along with other edible from our ongoing harvest projects. A percentage of proceeds will go to Hoover Hawks Victory Garden, a public school urban farm and garden located in West Oakland, supporting the amazing work these elementary students are doing with Wanda Stewart to grow locally sourced food for their community.
