Born out of the head of a Russian opera singer who has never seen a Godfather Movie comes GOSHFATHER, an artist who prides himself on his unique new-disco sound aptly called Glam House.
DJ Meikee Magnetic is a native San Franciscan who got his start in music with various live bands in his teens and 20's but found his calling behind the DJ booth while living in Tokyo. 1990 was the year he was exposed to the SF House Music scene while bar tending at DV8 nightclub. In the 90's he was responsible for booking multiple events at The Fillmore, Slims and Bottom of The Hill during the live Hip Hop Acid Jazz explosion. 2001 Meikee made his UK television debut in BBC London's electronic music documentary "Choice World Clubbing Tokyo" hosted by Seb Fontaine. An exciting and colorful doc featuring interviews with Carl Cox, Josh Wink, Ken Ishii, Tadao Kikimoto (TR-909 Drum Machine Roland) and 808 State. His performances include Ultra Music Festival (4yrs), Mt Fuji, 1015, Ruby Skye, TempleSF, Great American Music Hall, The Fillmore, Westin Hotel, W Hotel, Starlight Room, Shoreline Amphitheater, Echoplex LA, Viper Room, House Of Blues LA, EmporiumSF, Erotic Exotic Ball Cow Palace, Daybreaker and California Academy of Sciences. He's been an integral part of the Synthwave explosion in SF/LA/Seattle and has been a resident DJ at TurboDriveSF plus BootieSF (DNA Lounge) for the better part of the last decade. His mission for the past 7 years as music editor for Dark Beauty Magazine is to help give music artists a spotlight showcasing their work.
Henry Navarro is a dj/music producer from San Francisco. Born in the Midwest he put together his first recording studio at the early age of 15 which included a guitar, drum machine and 4-track tape recorder. He moved to San Francisco to work for the 12" record distributor TRC in 1998. Henry is currently the founder and A&R manager of Lookbook Recordings, a house, deep house, nu disco, jackin house and tech house label out of San Francisco. The label has been publishing digital releases since 2014. Henry is also signed to a number of labels with no signs of slowing down and has shown a remarkable pace in regards to quality & output. The most notable labels are Trax Records of Chicago, Jesse Saunders label Broken Records, Dj Spen's label Quantize Recordings, Juiced Music, Groovy Riddim, Onako, Lisztomania, Late Night Jackin', Little Jack, Disco Ball Records, Chicago Skyline Records, Ammo Recordings & Resource Records just to name a few. Over the last few years Henry has managed to release over 200 tracks.
