Join us in the Empress Theatre as we dance in the aisles with Tortilla Soup Band and Cisco Kid. Based in San Jose, Tortilla Soup was founded in 2003. One thing for sure the talent and experience of each and every member of Tortilla Soup is amazing. From the beginning days of Tortilla Soup has had a high level of musicianship. Tortilla Soup is a 9-piece band that includes a three-piece horn section that plays a variety of music from the 1960's to the present with an emphasis on groups such as Tower of Power, Tierra, Malo, Santana, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, The Gap band and Michael Jackson just to name a few. Cisco Kid is a live tribute to War/Lowrider, performing some of the greatest Lowrider classics that will take you back to the good ol' days!
