A night of expanded dance: movement performances that are built on questions, that animate the inanimate, and that are realized through sound, video, and film. The expanded field of dance activates site, object, and audience and achieves portability across time and space with the moving image. LOVEWARZ's maximal transformations of set/site/self and Sophia Wang, tooth, and Brontez Purnell's relational rituals all explore movement and the moving image as viscerally expansive experiences in which acts of agency and witness intermix.
