Tim Rubel Human Shakes dance company is presenting our 10th San Francisco Home Season, featuring a re-staging of Menace (2016) and the West Coast premiere of Thirst, in September.
Menace is a contemporary dance work that asks the audience to consider who we choose to devour and who we choose to save. Six dancers address the menacing questions through the embodiment of different human activities. Thirst offers a very different experience as a one-person dance-theatre romp that creatively and humorously examines the state of being "single." This story of single-ness is created and performed by Tim Rubel, our artistic director.
The show will run 9/12-9/14/2024 at the Joe Goode Annex.
