Bay Area saxophonist Timothy Lin comes to the stage at the Cafe Stritch for a special intimate concert. After being accepted into UCLA's Herb Albert School of Music with a scholarship, Tim moved to Los Angeles and studied extensively with Bob Sheppard, and eventually went on to win an outstanding soloist award at the 2012 Reno Jazz Festival. Tim was also one of the featured soloists of the UCLA Jazz Orchestra that competed at the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival this year, and is currently attending the University of Southern California under the direction of Bob Mintzer.
