San Jose singer-songwriter Tim Atlas' first album, an EP called Lost in the Waiting, came out in October, and now he's releasing a new video from that album. Given his choice of director, David Dutton, the results should be intriguing. Dutton is known for the Limousines' viral zombie-themed "Internet Killed the Video Star" video, as well as other cool videos for artists like Geographer, Anya, Bassnectar and Fountains of Wayne. Dutton has a particularly dramatic cinematic style that utilizes surreal special effects and storytelling. Atlas himself draws heavily on the influences of Bon Iver and John Mayer and he has an incredible, soulful voice. (Stephen Layton)
