TIDES is a party dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the work of women and nonbinary folks working in music, visual art, and other media.Our next event is on Saturday, July 27th at El Rio in the Mission.Each installment of TIDES features a full lineup of music, as well as a mini-marketplace of visual artists on the back patio. Every event also raises money for a different nonprofit working in women's rights -- with a focus on issues that affect the trans, WOC, and LGBTQ communities -- so a portion of proceeds goes to organizations fighting the good fight. This month we're fundraising for the SF LGBT Center. The mission of the SF LGBT Center is to connect our diverse community to opportunities, resources and each other to achieve our vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBT people and our allies. For more than 15 years, the Center has been a place to celebrate LGBT victories, mourn losses, and plan for the future. Today, they are the only non-profit in San Francisco serving all members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.

This collective of women came together to solidify unity among women of color and to provide an artistic outlet for the female voice to be heard. Hailing from and recalling styles of Oakland, Atlanta, New York and Chicago, this eclectic group brings soul, rock, funk, and latin music to an electrifying peak that will have you on your feet! Dominique Gomez:As one of the freshest faces to come out of the San Francisco music scene, Dominique Gomez blends soulful grit with her vibrato drenched range— giving you one powerhouse of a vocalist. The Colombian-American singer-songwriter’s passion for writing gleams through her lyrics, highlighting sorrow, discrimination, love, hopefulness and the power of community. Soulful-folk is where you’ll find Dominique, captivating new listeners everyday on a musical foundation destined to flourish. FiremaidFiremaid is the solo project from Kaila Ba?e (Big Tree, Bows).
