For our next installment of the Three Things Lecture Series, LA-based artist Amanda Ross-Ho will discuss how we access, appraise, and understand objects through the language of images. Pulling from a rich photographic archive culled from a variety of found sources, she'll share specimens from her large collection alongside a selection of her own works informed by these images.  All in attendance will receive a limited edition object by the artist.
Three Things is a lecture series revolving around the things that are informing the work of contemporary artists. The events are not meant to be traditional artist lectures in which an artist talks about his or her work, but rather as platforms for experimentation and exchange using the “things†as a jumping off point.   Sponsored by the Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation.
Fiscal Sponsorship provided by Intersection for the Arts.
Delicious beverages provided by Fort Point Beer Co. and Alysian Wines.
Many thanks to our preferred hotel partner The Tilden Hotel (click the link to get a special discounted rate through THE THING Quarterly).
