The Monterey History & Art Association and the Museum of Monterey proudly host a full day of engaging and wonderful art, science, and history. The day will open up with the opening of Sea Changes: ACT, the second installment of the yearlong "Fishing 2014" series guest curated by Dr. Jennifer Colby. Next, local photographer Huntington Witherill - a student of Ansel Adams during the 1970's - will unveil Beyond the Ordinary: An Enduring Legacy of Light, which features beautiful black and white as well as color photography from his lifetime of travels. Rounding out the day is Etched in Monterey: Yesterday-Today, a celebration of the hallowed artistic medium rooted in the history of the Monterey Peninsula.
