Hidden Heroes is SJMA’s first exhibition devoted to industrial design and tells the story of how 36 common objects were invented and became ubiquitous tools of modern life. From the paperclip to the Post-It Note, from the corkscrew to the coat hanger, these objects were created from an idea that was both simple and ingenious and have remained essentially unaltered for decades. This award-winning exhibition was organized by the renowned Vitra Design Museum in Weil en Rheim, Germany.
