June 24-25, Master Classes Friday, Tier II 3:30pm and Tier I 6pm, Final Rounds Saturday, Tier II 3:30pm and Tier 1 7pm
Fourteen finalists in two tiers will participate in the third annual James Toland Vocal Arts Competition before a panel of judges and audience at Holy Names University, Oakland on Saturday, June 25. Tier II finalists appear at 3:30 p.m., Tier I finalists at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday afternoon, June 24, 2016, Tier II finalists will participate in an open master class with soprano Robin Fisher. On Friday evening, June 24, 2016, Tier I finalists will participate in an open master class with Yale faculty member and conductor Timothy Shaindlin, followed immediately by a complimentary "Meet The Singers" reception. All events are open to the public.
