Halloween

Following last week's harvest moon, it's only appropriate that Neil Young bring the 25th Anniversary of the Bridge School Benefit back to Shoreline Amphitheatre this weekend. In addition to Young's annual opening and closing sets, Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters and Beck are among the artists scheduled to perform. Other seasonal festivities can be found at the Ferry Building's Harvest Festival and Local Bites, featuring sample hors d'oeuvres from local chefs using sustainable ingredients. Meanwhile, SF Station & Hammonii's VIP Cocktail Party brings local shochu concoctions to Chambers at the Phoenix Hotel. Hear new tunes with journalist-turned-vocalist Anika at The Independent and keep the early Halloween fun going with San Francisco's first Zombie Pub Crawl, Frite Nite and the Roller Disco Costume Party. Is your costume ready for Halloween? Use our costume and events guide for ideas before all the holiday parties arrive.

Weekly Giveaway: What is your favorite way to celebrate Halloween? Tell us by emailing [email protected] for a chance to win tickets to Frite Nite at the Mezzanine this Saturday!
