While many made the trek to Burning Man this week the rest of the city has been hard at work putting together some incredible events to help you enjoy the upcoming Labor Day weekend - SF style. Fans of LCD Soundsystem and Out Hud will be bouncing around the sold out crowd at Wednesdays !!! performance at The Independent. On Thursday you may just get a taste of whats to come in November when you join thousands of Obama supporters at the Hyatt Regency for a Live feed of Obama's DNC Nomination. True Skool puts on a 'Thank You' night at Mighty on Friday with a diverse group of DJ's spinning Reggae to Electro. On the weekend, celebrate locally grown organic foods while enjoying top notch musical acts including Medeski, Martin & Wood, Gnarls Barkley and more at the Slow Food Rocks event at the Great Meadow at Fort Mason. Swap your car for yoga lessons or roller skates when Embarcadero closes from Bayview to Chinatown for Sunday Streets. Finish off your long weekend with family, friends and over 60 musicians at the Art & Soul Festival at Oakland City Hall Plaza.
