VENUS is a new showcase series for women, and our mission is to elevate all who identify as women in the music industry. VENUS, being the planet of love and creative expression in astrology, helps us tune into our inner wisdom and trust our instincts. It values kindness over competition, compassion over comparison, and empowerment over ego. VENUS is co-founded by the record label and publishing company for women World Peach Records along with artist, entrepreneur and activist Tess Posner. The first VENUS showcase took place March 8th on International Women's Day at The Lost Church in San Francisco, and will take place quarterly thereafter. It featured Grammy and Emmy nominated artist Annette Philip, and Tess Posner who is a Finalist in both the USA Songwriting and International Songwriting Competitions, and Trixie Rasputin.
