The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk continues their summer concert series with The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill. Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, The Tubes scored their first hit in 1975 with the song, "White Punks on Dope." Throughout the 1970's and 1980's, The Tubes garnered notoriety for their live shows, which often featured tap dancers and acrobats with wild satires of media, consumerism, and politics. Some of their best known songs include "Talk to Ya Later," "She's a Beauty," and "Tip of My Tongue."
