The Carmel Music Society presents an afternoon concert with the world-renowned Takács Quartet at the Sunset Center. They are known around the globe for their distinctive performance style, blending drama, warmth and humor to their fresh interpretations of pieces in the string quartet reprtoire. In honor of their amazing talents, Gramophone announced that the Takács Quartet is the first string quartet to be inducted into its first Hall of Fame, along with such legendary artists as Jascha Heifetz, Leonard Bernstein and Dame Janet Baker.
