The Spiral Electric + Lord Buffalo + Niveles

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Spiral Electric (Melodic Heavy Psych)
Lord Buffalo (Rock / Dark Folk / Americana from Austin, TX)
Niveles (Atmospheric Heavy Psych / Post-punk)

San Francisco melodic heavy-psych heavyweights The Spiral Electric have been making big waves in the bay area lately, playing triumphant shows at The Independent and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and the Sub Zero Festival in San Jose and leaving excited crowds literally chanting for more. Their widely-acclaimed third album, a self-titled double-LP recorded with Steve Kille of Dead Meadow, continues to gain momentum, and the follow-up, delayed by Kille's passing, is nearing completion.

Lord Buffalo, an Austin, Texas blend of rock and dark Americana, are veterans of music festivals like Psycho Las Vegas and Ripplefest, and touring in support of new LP "Holus Bolus" (releasing July 1), which wades into the same murky waters as dark emotive brethren David Eugene Edwards/Woven Hand, All Them Witches, Emma Ruth Rundle, Earth/Dylan Carlson, Chelsea Wolfe and Nick Cave, the creative interplay of Middle Eastern influences and Western folk Americana takes the record in its own enveloping, meditative direction.

They'll be joined by San Francisco-based atmospheric heavy psych / post-punk band Niveles, a power-trio led by Andrew O'Neil (formerly of Mondo Drag) described as "Heartbreaking and tragic... but still tender and warm... like the memories of an estranged friend."
