"The Soldier's Journey" is the West Coast Celebration for the Heroes' Voices "National Veteran's Poetry Contest". The performance will include the World Premiere of a musical work by composer Michael Conley.
An exciting cast of professional actors, singers (and veterans) will perform. The poetry will range from "The Iliad" to contemporary Slam Poetry, and the traditional, folk and popular music is inspired by the stories of soldiers and members of their families.
