The Other Half
We make noise while you dance” - The simplest description of the new-century-men indie rock & roll trio that has taken the southwestern Texas bar scene by storm, in the words of guitarist Steven Seigel. Influenced by the likes of some of the coolest bands of the century so far (such as Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon and the Strokes) The Other Half have quickly earned a spot as one of the top acts in the El Paso area, while their energetic sound, catchy hooks and beautiful melodies continue to build their following every step of the way.
Kilo and the Dew
The clash between Jason Daw and Daniel “Kilo” Rivera began in the living rooms of college houses with experiments consisting of Rivera’s furious drums and Daw’s playful electronic melodies. After the completion of their first song, “Lose Yourself” the duo found their place among the rising hunger for indie pop and alternative techno bands like Twenty One Pilots and Passion Pit. Kilo’s band-geek-cut-loose drums driving behind Daw’s waves of synths, guitar, and keyboards, the Kilo and the Dew experience is nothing short of new players breaking the old rules.
ANiMALSOUL
ANiMALSOUL is a collection of four musically unique, dedicated musicians from West Texas. Through numerous music ventures, Jourdan Harper (Vocals/Guitar/Synth) and Valente Arellano (Drums) met in 2011 and formed a production team that proved to be the foundation on which the collective was built. In search of a new sound and dynamic, the duo began to create demo tracks with Valente’s siblings, Ivan (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals/Synth) and Alan (Bass/Backing Vocals), whom had returned from Los Angeles at the end of 2014. Combining heavy hip-hop and funk influences with the presence and authentic feel of a live rock band, ANiMALSOUL presents a modern, refreshing experience to listeners.
