Join us for a lecture co-sponsored by The Mexican Museum and the Center for Latin American Studies at UC Berkeley on the ancient city of Teotihuacan, located 30 miles from modern-day Mexico City. The talk will focus on Teotihuacan’s unique multiethnic corporate structure and how that structure played a role in the revolt and consequent fire of 550 AD.
The talk will be led by Dr. Linda R. Manzanilla, a professor and researcher at the Institute of Anthropological Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a member of El Colegio Nacional.
