The Long Goodbye: ArtSpan Journal Building Residency Exhibition Opening at the Castro Art Walk

THE LONG GOODBYE
The Journal Building Artist Residency Program provides studio space in an otherwise underutilized building to 16 artists working in a variety of media. At the Journal Building, we've gotten good at saying goodbye, our temporary residence has repeatedly ended and been extended. 
Join us for the opening reception of our show "The Long Goodbye" on July 4th 6-9PM during the Castro Art Walk for live music and refreshments to celebrate the continued success of the residency program! 
“The Long Goodbye” features self-portraits from each of the resident artists to represent and encapsulate their experience as a working artist in the rapidly changing city. Please join us to celebrate the studios that have provided an affordable and accessible home for San Francisco's artist community.
