New Jersey outfit The Jack Moves present 'Somebody's Watching You,' the debut single from their soon-to-be released third album.
Known for their distinctive take on East Coast R&B and soul, the duo's latest track is their most ambitious yet when it comes to genre-skipping--infused with 80s instrumentals that nod to The Manhattans and Blue Magic, and a grooving rap outro by Jersey local (and frequent collaborator) Panama Brim.
With its infectious, ebullient hook and jaunty flute, 'Somebody's Watching You' might seem like a sweet paean to longing, to desire--but it's also an ode to looking in its many forms, to the interplay of gazes online and IRL, to observing, being observed, and performing for the eyes of others.
