THE HELLTONES, Bray and the Dens, XFR 4TA, Meschach Jackson

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Helltones : Conceived in the waning months of 2016 by high school friends and bandmates Darwin Siegaldoud and Paul Bowman, The Helltones have since grown into a six piece surf beast in a tailored velvet suit. Tim Eggerding on bass, Daniel Goldberg on saxophone, and the sirens Voctoria Sepe and Kyle Debuff singing harmonies.

Bray and the Dens : Bray is a San Francisco-based singer songwriter with a bewitching brand of avant pop rock: a quirky yet accessible mix of sharp hooks and percolating beats. The result is alt pop with elements of Bowie and Coldplay. Bray and his band have toured in 10 countries around the world. His songs have appeared in 11 national TV shows, and his videos have garnered more than 4 million YouTube views.

XFR 4TA : That Xifer Fortier - he sure can write a song. Sometimes he plays ‘em. Sings ‘em too. On his debut solo LP as XFR 4TA, Funny You Should Ask (Capsaicin Records 2018) he plays damn near everything, although a few special guests - Camper Van Beethoven’s Jonathan Segel, the late Ralph Carney, and former Griddle bandmates, Kevin Seal & Chris Mcgrew, et al - make inspired cameos. Xifer lives more or less happily in Oakland. He is a fan of love and cocktails.

Meschach Jackson : Bay Area-based and Bayou-reared Meshach Jackson delivers his soulful lyrics with an emotional intensity that can only come from someone who was raised on equal parts gospel and grunge. Meshach draws the audience in with his emotionally raw, intimately truthful lyrics and impassioned stage presence.
