Formed in 2007 in Santa Cruz, The Groggs is a power trio that sticks to a vintage garage-punk-rock sound reminiscent of such legendary acts as The Seeds, The Stooges, Them, The Standells and Hasil Adkins, fused with a healthy dose of late 1970's street sensibility. Over the past several years, they have shared the stage with a plethora of groups from abroad, including The Black Lips, Kid Congo Powers and the Pink Monkeybirds, King Tuff, Starlite Desperation, The Mantles, Crocodiles, The Flakes, Sleepy Sun and many more. If you're looking for looking for some rock and roll that isn't afraid to get dirty, The Groggs might be just the band for you.
