For 15 years, The Expendables have been tearing down venues with their infectious blend of reggae and punk, littered with just a hint of 80's guitar. Now, the Santa Cruz locals will once again be hitting the road later this year for the annual Winter Blackout Tour with support from friends Stick Figure and Seedless. The energetic reggae-rockers are fresh off the massive Cabin By The Sea Tour, which saw the four-piece perform over 40 shows across the States and Canada in support of friends and fellow rockers Dirty Heads. No strangers to the touring lifestyle, the band have kept busy over the past few months, topping off their summer slot with two consecutive headlining shows in their hometown of Santa Cruz, as well as rocked out gigs on The Queen Mary's Shoreline Jam, Santan Oktoberfest in Arizona, and a closing show at SLO Brewing Co - the perfect coda for the final days of the season. Looking towards the end of the year, the band will head to Costa Rica for the 2014 Jungle Jam Festival. No rest for the wicked, right? With praise pouring in from concert goers who reminiscence from everything to "massive circle pits to slow-dance grooves," a show by The Expendables on the Winter Blackout Tour is set to be a raging night not to be missed!
