A boutique pop-up art fair, called The East Cut Art Fair, will take place in a 3,000 foot retail storefront just south of Market Street in mid-January 2018. Timed to coincide with the two major international fairs, Fog, and Untitled, taking place in San Francisco over the same weekend, The East Cut Art Fair will feature contemporary art that has been curated by four professional Bay Area gallery directors, all under one roof.
Participating galleries include Chandra Cerrito Contemporary (Oakland), George Lawson Gallery (San Francisco), Seager Gray Gallery (Mill Valley), and SLATE Contemporary (Oakland).
All artwork will be for sale, with prices ranging from $500 for small collectibles by local artists, to $20,000 for more important works by artists with national and international reputations.
