The Cock Project

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Doors open at 6:45. Doors will lock at 7pm. YOU MUST BE ON TIME!
*Individuals who identify as having a penis, you are invited to share about your sexuality and genitals... both growing up and now.
People across the gender spectrum, who desire to hold space, you are invited to compassionately witness and listen.
This Cock Project™ is a beautiful process for exploring, owning, and healing parts of ourselves that - for many of us - have been associated with shame, trauma, or shadow at some point during our lives. Dr. HazelGrace's methodology for holding this space and guiding this exploration is inspiring, and creates a safe and loving container to be vulnerable and open about these hidden parts, and to witness and be witnessed by others.
Register:
 * Individuals who have had a cock, are intersex or have ambiguous genitals are also welcome to share their stories.  We acknowledge that *revealing* is not how many people normally operate. We want to offer you a safe space to be able to do so.
Actually, we are begging you to.
What YOU will receive is a gift…which you might not even be aware is valuable, and potentially missing, for you. Support. Your own voice, being valued, and being heard. What you offer is a co-created space that expands understanding of what it is like to be you, as asexual being.
PLEASE come participate in supporting you, other cock owners, and those witnessing you.
Cock owners widespread experience sexual abuse, pressure to perform, stereotyped as perpetrators, blamed for other’s behaviors, shamed for their desires and arousal, judged as perverts, and experience circumcision as genital mutilation. These issues have been silenced and hidden in the shadows.
When have you told your story?
When has anyone asked?
We are asking. Now.
What IS your story about your cock?
Has it been positive throughout your life? Then come and brag!
Has it not been?
Then come and receive support.
Have you ever considered that there IS a story about your cock?
Your experience. Valid and worthwhile. Regardless of what it is.
We want to hear it. We benefit from it. We NEED your perspective.
We NEED the perspective of proud, wounded, and vulnerable cock owners.
We know that there can be a huge amount of shame around sexuality.
We know you might have been shamed for your desire.
We know you might have been taught it is too much, bad, and potentially dangerous.
We know you might have been shamed for touching your cocks or masturbating when you were young.
We know that shame leads to isolation.
We know you might have been taught to “be a man” by your family, media or culture.
Something powerful happens when you share your story with a group of caring and accepting humans.
People who are there just to listen. Just to support.
“Empathy is the antidote to shame.” Brene Brown
We know that this is a risk. Telling us about your genitals is also sharing with us your vulnerability and your heart.
Tell us your story this evening.
We are listening, and want to learn from you.

 The flow of the evening:
* Creating the container: agreements & confidentiality
* The cock owners have the floor: They will be asked a series of questions about their sexuality and genitals
* They share if they desire to share, no one is required to talk
* They share ONLY from their experience
* Those witnessing at the end will share the impact and what difference it made for them

The event will skillfully be facilitated by Dr. HazelGrace Yates and Sean Maher
