SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Center SF is proud to bring back its new monthly mid-week, early evening Ecstatic Dance. Our intention is to create more community spaces to safely explore and express ourselves through movement, connection, and dance.
The evening will include a Qi Gong inspired yoga flow with the incredible Chelsea Kirby, followed by an experiential DJ set by Solus with live musical accompaniment by Nate Levin. To top it off and ground your experience, Chelsea will close the evening with a guided meditation and sound healing.
Space is limited.
** Evening Flow **

7:30-9:30pm -- Ecstatic Dance w/ Solus and Nate Levin
9:30-9:45pm -- Sound healing + closing circle w/ Chelsea Kirby
Solus is a DJ, sound alchemist, dancer, and visionary healer who is walking a path of service to the collective. He has been a pivotal figure in the evolution of the conscious electronic dance music scene for over a decade. His profound and ever-deepening devotion to the art of transformation infuses the dance floor or Shamanic ambient journey with transcendental power, grace, and understanding of fusing world music.
He is an experientialist who quests for multi-dimensional embodiment and transmission of tantric principals and energetic expansion. Off the dance floor, Solus serves as a community builder through his knowledge and experience in conscious communication and cooperative co-creation. He has committed himself to serving the empowerment of the feminine principal in all of its forms, both within himself and within society at large. Solus has several mixes available that include his production on https://www.yogi-tunes.com.
Chelsea Kirby views sound & movement as sacred expressions of a universal language; a language that unites and empowers people from all backgrounds. She brings the fluidity of sound & movement into her yoga offerings, blending vinyasa with intuitive movement and Qigong to free the spirit and deepen the connection to the subtle energy of the body.
As a singer-songwriter, sound-healer & sound-designer, Chelsea's love for both acoustic instrumentation & electronic music moved her to create her current project Arula; a rich interplay of her many influences.
She has studied with many celebrated teachers in the community such as; sound & breath-work under John DeRobertis (The Power of Conscious Singing,) Amber Field (Free your Voice,) and John Beaulieu (Biosonics/Sound).  She received her 200hr YTT with Dana Damara in 2016 and has also taken various courses with teachers such as Janet Stone, Ana Forest, Roger Jahnke (Qi Cultivation & Mastery), Michelle Baker (Reiki, Swan River) and studied yoga & meditation in Kerala, India.
Nate Levin is an Oberlin Conservatory trained multi-instrumentalist and producer specializing in live improvisatory soundscapes custom tailored to the environment he finds himself in.  Described as “Ether Music,” Nate’s instrumentals frame the vibrational narratives of tea houses, ecstatic dances, yoga classes, and group meditations by fusing together elements of ethno-world, tribal, ambient, post-rock, sound healing, psychedelic, and downtempo electronic music.
