The Capitol Steps, America's premiere musical-political satire troupe will appear for one show only in San Francisco at the Herbst Theatre. On March 17, the troupe, visiting San Francisco for the first time in a decade, will perform its latest show, "Make America GRIN Again!"
Originally a group of congressional staffers who set out to satirize their employers in 1981, The Capitol Steps have elevated musical satire to an art form over the past 38 years. This vaudeville-like comedy show provides a mix of song and standup, lampooning our historic mid-term elections, modern political leaders, taking on the major issues of the day. No matter whom or what is in the headlines, The Capitol Steps tackles both sides of the political spectrum and all things equally foolishly.
