The Henry Miller Library is thrilled to present a Big Lebowski party and screening at the Golden State Theatre. This Coen Brothers film stars Jeff Bridges as "Dude" Lebowski as he is mistaken with a millionaire with the same name. Two thugs defile the Dude's favorite carpet to coerce him into paying a debt he knows nothing about. He then seeks the real Lebowski, who then gives the Dude a one-time job with high pay-off. However, after the Dude enlists some of his bowling buddies, they soon realize that they are about to get into more trouble then they thought, as they discover that everyone from porn empire tycoons to nihilists want something from the Dude.
There will DJs spinning tunes, food, Big Lebowski-themed trivia, plenty of White Russians, and a Big Lebowski-themed costume party.
