The Henry Miller Memorial Library is proud to host the big Big BIG Sur Fashion Show, now in its fifth year. Started in 2009, this event is the brainchild of Sara Carr and Lisa Goettel who had only one goal in mind: to inspire, showcase and celebrate the creativity of Big Sur. All featured outfits are designed and modeled by non-professional local volunteers who create outfits without using fabric, and are then given two minutes to showcase their runway act, each inspired by a different theme or challenge every year.
