The Alley

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Teleki Design (see times)
Nothing normal happens in an alley. They're tight, dark and weird, just like the new monthly show being put on by experimental record label Subruckus Collective. The event packs some of the area's stranger musical acts in an intimate venue, just off the beaten path in downtown Mountain View. Last month, artists included downer popster Talk, Tired, Thanatoid, the twangy Banjo Steve, and ambient soundscape artist Placozoa Dictatorship, who will be coming back this month. The sophomore show will also feature the "freakout jazz" of Lazer Queen, the psychedelic synths of Shivoham, and many other talented experimenters. Hosted by Keith Teleki of Teleki Design and Weird Mountain View.
